Set Up a Squad with the Top-Down Camera

Activate the Tactical Camera View

Switch to the mod's top-down real-time strategy camera mode. This overhead perspective lets you see your entire squad and the battlefield at once, making coordination much easier than standard first-person play.

Select and Group Your Units

Use the camera to highlight and select multiple tamed mobs. Assign them all to the same team number (1–16) so they act as a cohesive unit. You can have different squads on different teams for complex tactics.

Issue Movement and Combat Orders

With your squad selected, issue commands: move them to a location, tell them to follow you, order them to hold position (stay), or attack a specific target. The top-down view makes it easy to see which mobs are responding and adjust positions in real time.

Manage Positioning

Use the overhead perspective to spread your squad across the battlefield, position them behind cover, or cluster them for concentrated firepower. This tactical awareness is the core advantage of the camera system.
