Recover Items After Death

Locate and Retrieve Your Protected Items

When you die, Loyal Items Mod automatically prevents your items from disappearing after the normal 5-minute despawn timer. However, you still need to find where they landed.

Finding Your Items

1. After dying, note your death location from the chat message or death screen coordinates

2. Travel back to that location

3. Look for item entities on the ground—they will appear as floating items

4. Walk over them to pick them up

Important Notes

Protected items remain indefinitely until you collect them, so there's no rush. However, they will still be vulnerable to:

• Being destroyed by fire, lava, or explosions
• Despawning if you uninstall the mod
• Being picked up by other players on multiplayer servers (depending on server rules)

Once you've retrieved all your items, they function normally again. The mod doesn't modify items themselves—it only extends how long they stay in the world after death.
