How to Keep the Low Fire Effect While Using Other Resource Packs

Why the Effect Sometimes Disappears

Resource packs stack. If two packs edit the same fire overlay texture, only the one higher in the list is used. Many PvP packs, shader-friendly packs, and "clear vision" packs also rewrite the fire texture, so installing Low On Fire alone is not always enough — order matters.

Fixing the Load Order

1. Open Options, then Resource Packs.

2. Look at your Selected packs on the right side. The topmost pack has the highest priority.

3. Drag Low On Fire above any pack that changes fire, particles, or screen overlays.

4. Click Done and let the game reload the pack list.

5. Re-test by catching fire. If the overlay is still large, the conflicting pack may be bundling fire into a larger texture atlas — try moving Low On Fire even higher, or temporarily disable the other pack to confirm which one is fighting it.

6. Keep a note of your final order so you can restore it after adding new packs.

When It Still Won't Work

Some packs ship fire as part of a combined texture file rather than a standalone overlay. In that case the two cannot coexist cleanly, and you have to choose which pack you want more. Shaders do not change the overlay texture itself, so they are safe to run alongside this pack.
