Making Loot Integrations Work With Your Other Loot Mods
How Compatibility Works
Loot Integrations: Hopo Better Mineshaft, Ruins And Portals is designed to merge loot from vanilla tables and other compatible loot mods into Hopo's chests. It does not replace those mods — it blends their entries into the Hopo structure tables. That means your existing loot mods keep working and simply feed extra items into mineshaft, ruin, and portal chests.
Getting the Best Mix
- Install your loot mods before generating new chunks if possible. Structures generated earlier may already have rolled their chest contents.
- Load the game once after adding a new loot mod so its tables register, then explore fresh Hopo structures to see the combined pool.
- Avoid stacking mods that heavily overlap in theme unless you want very diluted pools; more entries means each individual item is rarer.
- Test in a fresh world if you want to see the full effect, since existing chests will not retroactively reroll.
Troubleshooting
If chests seem unchanged, confirm both Hopo and Loot Integrations are loaded and that you are opening newly generated structures. Loot tables are applied at generation time, so old chests keep their original contents. There is nothing to configure in-game — the integration is automatic once the mods are present.
