How to Get Modded Items to Appear in Formations Structure Chests

Why You Might Not See Modded Loot

Loot Integrations: Formations Overworld And Nether doesn't add items itself. It rewrites the loot tables that Formations structures use so they pull from vanilla tables and from other installed mods' loot pools. If a chest only contains vanilla gear, the mod either isn't detecting your other mods or those mods don't expose loot tables this integration can hook into.

Steps to Make Modded Loot Show Up

1. Confirm the other mod is actually installed and loaded alongside Loot Integrations and Formations. Check your mod list in-game, not just your mods folder.

2. Make sure the other mod registers its items in standard loot tables. Mods that only add items via custom crafting or mob drops won't feed into chest loot.

3. Generate a fresh world or explore newly generated chunks. Loot tables are baked when a chest is created, so already-looted or already-generated chests won't retroactively change.

4. If you use a loot-modifying datapack or another loot mod, load order matters. Loot Integrations is designed to be compatible, but conflicting overrides can suppress entries.

5. Test by opening several chests across different Formations structures (Overworld and Nether variants) rather than judging from one chest.

If modded items still don't appear, the source mod likely doesn't publish compatible loot tables, and the integration has nothing to pull from.
