Apply Animated Color Gradients to Tooltip Text

Choose Your Gradient Type

Looming Script Lexicon offers several animated effects: rainbow cycles that shift through the full color spectrum, two-color slides that flow between two hex colors, color pulses that fade in and out, and static hex colors for fixed tones. Select the effect type when editing your tooltip line.

Configure Gradient Settings

For two-color gradients, enter your start and end hex color codes (for example, #FF0000 for red and #0000FF for blue). For rainbow effects, the mod cycles automatically. Adjust animation speed if the option is available—faster speeds create quicker transitions, slower speeds create subtle fades.

Apply to Specific Lines

Gradients are applied per text line, so you can mix static and animated text in the same tooltip. One line might have a pulsing red effect while another remains plain white.

Preview the Animation

Hold CTRL to see the gradient animate in the preview window. Save once you're happy with the effect and speed. The animation will play continuously when you hover over the item in-game.
