Troubleshoot Failed Warps

Check Your Setup

Before attempting a warp, verify these conditions:

• You're standing directly on a lodestone block
• You're holding the correct linked compass in one hand
• You're holding an ender pearl in your other hand
• The compass is actually linked to a lodestone (you right-clicked it earlier)

Common Issues

Warp doesn't trigger: Make sure you're using right-click on the ender pearl, not left-click. Both items must be in your hands simultaneously.

Compass won't link: Right-click the lodestone block itself, not the ground beside it. You should see a confirmation that the link was successful.

Teleported to wrong location: You may be holding the wrong compass. If you have multiple linked compasses, double-check which one you're holding.

Verify Lodestone Placement

Ensure your destination lodestone is fully placed and not broken or replaced. If you've moved or removed a lodestone, your compass will still try to warp you to its old coordinates, which may result in unexpected behavior.
