How do I lock a slot in my inventory?
Open your inventory, point your cursor at the item slot you want to protect, and press your configured lock key. The slot will show a visual indicator (usually a lock icon) to confirm it's locked. Press the same key again on that slot to unlock it.
Can I lock items in my hotbar without opening my inventory?
Yes, that's one of the mod's main features. Point at a hotbar slot and press your lock key even when your inventory menu is closed, and that item will stay protected during combat or mining.
What happens if I try to drop a locked item?
The drop key will do nothing—the locked item won't fall to the ground. This prevents you from accidentally throwing away your best tools or important gear during hectic moments.
Can locked items be moved into chests or other containers?
No, locked items cannot be picked up or moved by your mouse at all. They stay fixed in their slot, so you can't accidentally drag them into a chest, furnace, or any other inventory.
Do locked slots still let me pick up matching items?
Yes, if you lock a slot with a stack of items, new matching items you pick up will add to that stack and increase the count. The slot itself stays locked in place, but the stack can grow.
Does this mod work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, the mod works entirely client-side, so you can use it on any server without needing the server to have it installed. Your locked slots are only enforced on your own client.
How do I change which key locks and unlocks slots?
