Loading Bar Breaking Animation Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I know the loading bar is working?
When you start breaking a block, you'll see a horizontal bar appear instead of the default cracking animation. The bar fills from left to right as you continue mining, and disappears once the block breaks.
Does the loading bar work on all blocks?
Yes, the loading bar replaces the breaking animation for every block type in the game. Some blocks break instantly (like dirt with the right tool), so you won't see the bar fill—it appears and completes immediately.
Can I see the loading bar from far away?
The loading bar is visible at normal viewing distances, but like the default animation, it may become harder to see if you're very far from the block you're mining. This is normal behavior.
Why does the loading bar disappear before I finish mining?
This usually means you're using the wrong tool for that block. Switching to the correct tool (like a pickaxe for stone) will show the bar filling completely before the block breaks.
Does this work with enchanted tools like Efficiency?
Yes, the loading bar still responds to tool enchantments and attributes. A tool with higher mining speed will fill the bar faster, just as it would break blocks faster in vanilla.
Will this resource pack slow down my game?
No, this is a lightweight resource pack that only changes textures and animations. It has minimal performance impact and should run smoothly on most systems.
Does the loading bar show different colors for different block types?
The loading bar uses a consistent visual style across all blocks. The bar itself doesn't change color based on block type, keeping the interface clean and simple.
Can I use this with other resource packs?
Yes, but if another resource pack also modifies the breaking animation, the two may conflict. Place this pack higher in your resource pack list to make it take priority.
Why can't I see the loading bar on transparent or partial blocks?
Some blocks like leaves, glass, or flowers have special breaking behavior in Minecraft. The loading bar may appear differently or not at all on these blocks due to how the game handles their animations.
Does the loading bar work in Creative mode?
In Creative mode, blocks break instantly when clicked, so the loading bar won't have time to display. The pack works as intended in Survival and Adventure modes where mining takes time.
