Fixing Loading Backgrounds Not Appearing After Adding the Structures Pack

When the loading screen stays blank or default after adding the Structures pack, work through the chain from mod to pack to screen. Each link can break the result on its own.

Verify the Mod Is Active

Loading Backgrounds is required for the pack to do anything. Check your mods list and confirm the mod is present and enabled for the correct game version and loader. If the mod is missing or disabled, the pack has nothing to feed images into, and you will see the vanilla loading screen.

Verify the Pack Is Selected

Open Options > Resource Packs and confirm the Structures pack sits in the selected column. A pack that is only in the available column does nothing. Also make sure the pack file is not corrupted; re-downloading and replacing it often resolves packs that fail to load silently.

Force a Real Loading Screen

Some transitions skip the loading screen because nothing needs loading. Quit to the title screen and open a world, or travel to another dimension, to trigger a genuine loading event. If images appear there, the setup is working and earlier tests simply did not produce a loading screen.

Finally, disable other resource packs temporarily to rule out a conflict overriding the background files.
