Combining the Structures Pack With Other Loading Background Packs

The Structures pack is one of several background packs for the mod, and players often want to mix them. Because they are resource packs, they stack by priority, and only the topmost pack's version of a given image file is used.

How Priority Works

In Options > Resource Packs, packs higher in the selected list take precedence over those below them. If two packs both supply an image for the same loading screen slot, the higher pack wins and the lower one's copy is ignored. Packs that supply different images will both contribute, so you can get a mix of structures and other themes.

Practical Setup

1. Decide which pack you want to dominate. Put it at the top of the selected list.

2. Place the Structures pack below it if you want the other pack to win on overlapping files, or above it if you want structures to win.

3. Load a world and watch a few different loading screens to see which images appear.

4. Adjust the order and reload until the mix looks right.

If you see no structures at all, the other pack is likely supplying every file the Structures pack also provides, so move Structures higher.
