Lithostitched Mod: What It Does and How It Works

A Library for World Generation

Lithostitched is a library mod, meaning it adds no items or mobs by itself. Instead, it gives other mods and datapacks a shared set of tools for changing how Minecraft worlds are generated.

What It Lets You Change

Through data files, Lithostitched can add, remove, or adjust biome features. It can attach new parts to existing structures such as villages or temples, and it can alter terrain formation, including ground height, layering, and the materials used.

Why It Matters

Because all of these changes are handled through data rather than code, different mods and datapacks can modify the same world generation without conflicting. This makes it easier to combine multiple mods that each want to customize biomes, structures, or terrain.

Configuration

Everything is customized through JSON data files. No coding is required, so pack authors and mod developers can make adjustments directly.
