Clear a Large Area of the Same Block Type

Target a Block in Your Clearing Area

Look at any block you want to remove (stone, dirt, sand, etc.). Press the Tilde/Grave key (`) to activate Liteminer. An outline will appear showing all connected blocks of that type.

Select the Right Shape for Your Task

For large rectangular areas, use the 3×3 shape by pressing Liteminer and scrolling your mouse wheel. This creates a predictable grid pattern. For irregular terrain, Shapeless mode will select all connected blocks of the same type, which is useful for clearing natural stone formations or sand deposits.

Mine and Repeat

Left-click to break all outlined blocks. Move to an adjacent area and repeat. The 3×3 shape lets you systematically clear in straight lines, while Shapeless mode is faster for homogeneous deposits.

• Clearing stone for a base foundation
• Harvesting sand or gravel deposits
• Removing dirt or grass blocks in bulk
• Creating flat terrain for building
• The outline preview prevents accidental destruction of blocks you want to keep
