Use Manual Printing Mode

Enable Manual Printing

Some configurations allow you to switch the printer to manual mode, where blocks only place when you actively hold down a designated key rather than automatically. Check your mod settings to enable this feature and confirm the keybind.

Hold the Manual Print Key

When manual mode is active, hold down your configured manual printing key. The printer will place blocks only while the key is held. Release to stop printing immediately.

Precise Block Placement

Manual mode is useful when you need precise control—for example, when building near important structures, working with redstone contraptions, or placing blocks in specific sequences. You can place a few blocks, pause, check alignment, then continue.

Combine with Automatic Mode

You can toggle between automatic and manual modes without reloading your schematic. Use automatic mode for large open areas and switch to manual when precision matters. This hybrid approach gives you flexibility across different parts of your build.
