Understand Server Startup and Shutdown Alerts

What Gets Announced

When your server starts up or shuts down, the mod automatically sends alerts to your linked Discord channels. These notifications help your community know when the server is available or going offline for maintenance.

Where Alerts Appear

Server status messages go to whichever Discord channels your administrator has designated for announcements. This is usually a dedicated #server-status or #announcements channel, separate from general chat.

Why This Matters

These alerts keep your community informed without requiring players to constantly check if the server is online. If the server crashes or restarts unexpectedly, Discord members get notified immediately.

Customizing Your Alerts

If you've linked your account, you may be able to disable startup/shutdown notifications in your personal settings. However, the alerts will still post to the Discord channel itself—you're only opting out of personal pings or notifications, not removing them from the channel entirely.
