Translate NPC Dialogue in Real-Time During Gameplay

Quick Translation During Conversation

When an NPC speaks to you in a language you don't understand, the mod displays their message in chat with a [Translate] tag. Click this tag to instantly convert the dialogue to your target language while keeping the original text accessible.

Setting Up Auto-Translation

If you want translations to happen automatically without clicking each time:

1. Press Z or enter /translate to open the configuration menu

2. Navigate to Chat Translation Settings

3. Enable the Auto-Translate option

4. Choose your target language from the dropdown

5. Select your preferred translation engine (Google Translate or AI model)

Now incoming NPC dialogue will translate automatically. You can still click the language tag to toggle back to the original text at any moment.

Using Voice Narration

To hear translated dialogue read aloud:

1. Open /translate again

2. Go to Voice Narration Options

3. Enable voice narration and adjust pitch and speed to your preference

4. The mod will now speak translated NPC text using high-quality speech synthesis
