Control Unit Movement and Combat Behavior
Give Follow and Stay Orders
Interact with any hired soldier to open their status menu. From this interface, you can issue two core movement commands: Follow orders make the unit stay close and engage enemies alongside you, while Stay orders lock them in place to hold a defensive position or guard a location.
These commands give you full tactical control over when your troops advance, retreat, or hold ground during combat encounters.
Manage Soldier Positioning
Use Stay orders to position soldiers at chokepoints, doorways, or strategic locations before engaging enemies. Switch to Follow mode when you need mobile support during active combat. Soldiers under Follow orders will automatically assist you against your current targets and defend you if you take damage.
Prevent Unit Loss
If a soldier falls behind during travel or gets separated in unloaded chunks, they'll automatically teleport to rejoin you. Their data is permanently saved, so you won't lose them even if they're far away. Use the invasion menu to recall entire squads from distant locations without manual retrieval.
