Promote Gems Beyond Perfect Grade Using the Gem Resonator

Unlock Post-Perfect Gem Tiers

Once you have Perfect-grade gems from standard Apotheosis progression, the Gem Resonator opens thirteen new gem grades climbing toward the highest tiers. These gems provide exponentially higher stat bonuses and unlock new affix combinations unavailable at lower grades.

Prepare Materials and Craft

The Gem Resonator requires a reusable Gem Ascension Matrix (similar to the Ascension Core) and high-tier materials specific to each gem type. Place your Perfect gem and the required catalyst into the Resonator. It will consume durability from the matrix and promote the gem one grade higher.

Repeat this process to push gems through Legendary, Ancient, Forgotten, Primal, and beyond. Each promotion increases the gem's stat contribution and unlocks new affix pools for socketed items.

Maximize Gem Potential

Prioritize gems that match your build's focus family. A Defense-focused character should promote gems that grant armor, toughness, or health bonuses first. Socket upgraded gems into your highest-rarity equipment for the greatest power multiplier.

Long-Term Strategy

As you reach Transcendent and Apotheotic equipment tiers, ensure your gems keep pace. The Apex Ascension Bench can promote gems even further, so plan your gem upgrades alongside your rarity progression.
