Craft Your First Ascension Core and Start Post-Mythic Progression

Prepare for the Ascension Forge

Before you can refine materials into post-Mythic rarities, you need an Ascension Core—a reusable crafting component that powers the Ascension Forge. Gather the required ingredients (these are typically high-tier Apotheosis materials and gems) and construct the Ascension Forge multiblock or single-block variant according to your mod version.

Craft and Use Your Core

Place the Ascension Core into the Ascension Forge's input slot. The forge will consume rarity materials and convert them into Evolution Catalysts or upgrade existing Mythic items toward Legendary rarity. Each use costs durability from the core, but it never breaks—it simply recharges over time or through specific recipes.

Start by upgrading a single piece of Mythic equipment you rely on. Feed it the appropriate catalyst and watch it climb to Legendary. This unlocks access to Legendary affix pools and higher stat caps. Repeat this process methodically across your armor and weapons as you accumulate more catalysts.

Once comfortable with Legendary gear, begin planning your affix strategy. Identify which of the five focus families (Attack, Defense, Agility, Sustain, Utility) aligns with your build, then move toward crafting Focus Sigils at the Affix Loom to control your item rolls.
