You can hire troops with battle coins and call them to your side with a key press, but you must pay them regularly to keep them from leaving, and they grow stronger as veterans over time.
What role do the Greek gods play in this mod?
You can visit temples to worship five Greek gods through sacrifices, unlocking passive gifts and custom enchantments, and trigger active divine boons during combat like lightning strikes from Zeus or tides from Poseidon.
Can I use war horses in combat?
Yes, you can tame war horses and equip chariot kits to them, allowing you to transport two riders across the battlefield faster than foot units.
What happens when armies siege cities?
Armies march across the map and launch sieges against cities, and if the defense breaks, control of that city permanently flips to the attacking faction.
