How to Leash Another Player
Getting Started
To leash another player, you'll need a standard Minecraft leash item. Approach the player you want to leash while holding the leash in your hand.
Attaching the Leash
1. Stand close to your target player
2. Right-click on them while holding the leash
3. The leash will attach, and you can now lead them around
Once attached, the leashed player will follow you as you move. They can still move independently, but will be pulled toward you if they stray too far. The leash creates a visible connection between you and the other player.
Breaking Free
The leashed player can break free by moving beyond the leash break distance (configurable by server admins). Alternatively, right-clicking on the leashed player again will detach the leash. You can also use a leash on a fence post to temporarily anchor a player in place, though they may be able to escape depending on server settings.
