How to Escape from a Leash

Quick Escape Methods

If another player has leashed you, you have several options to break free:

Moving Away

Simply walk or run away from the player holding your leash. Once you exceed the leash break distance (set by server admins), the leash will snap and you'll be free. The exact distance varies by server configuration.

Direct Removal

If you have access to the player holding your leash, ask them to right-click on you again to detach it manually. This is the quickest method if they're cooperative.

Using Obstacles

Move behind walls, terrain, or other obstacles to create distance quickly. This can help you exceed the break distance faster than open running.

Server Settings

If leashing feels too restrictive on your server, contact an admin about adjusting the break distance or pulling distance settings to give players more freedom.
