How to Configure Leash Rules on Your Server
Accessing Game Rules
Leashable Players Mod uses Minecraft's game rule system to control mod behavior. Access these settings through commands or your server configuration.
Key Settings to Adjust
- Enable/Disable the mod: Toggle whether leashing is allowed on your server
- Leash break distance: Set how far a player can move before the leash snaps
- Pulling distance: Control how far the leash can stretch before the leashed player is pulled toward the holder
Applying Changes
Use the /gamerule command to modify these settings in-game, or edit your server configuration file for permanent changes. Changes take effect immediately for new leash interactions.
Balancing Gameplay
Adjust these values to match your server's playstyle—shorter distances create more control for pranks, while longer distances give leashed players more freedom to resist.
