How to Get the Leaping Enchantment

Finding Leaping Boots

The Leaping enchantment is a treasure-level enchantment, meaning it won't appear on an enchanting table. You'll need to find it through loot or trading.

Loot Chests

Search generated structures like dungeons, temples, strongholds, and end cities. Open chests and look for boots already enchanted with Leaping. This is random, so you may need to explore multiple structures.

Fishing

Fish in any body of water using a fishing rod. Treasure catches (which take longer) have a chance to include enchanted boots with Leaping. This method is slower but requires no exploration.

Librarian Villager

Find a librarian in a village and check their trades. Some librarians offer enchanted books. If you find one selling a Leaping book, you can buy it and apply it to your own boots using an anvil. This is the most reliable method if you have access to a village.

Applying to Boots

Once you have Leaping (either on boots or as an enchanted book), use an anvil to combine it with your preferred boots if needed. The enchantment only works on boots, so make sure you're applying it to the correct armor piece.
