How to Farm Enchanted Books from Librarians

Setting Up a Librarian Farm

Librarians are the most reliable source for Leaping enchanted books. With some setup, you can guarantee access to the enchantment.

Finding and Trapping Librarians

1. Locate a village and identify librarians (they wear robes and have lecterns)

2. Build an enclosed area around a librarian to prevent them from wandering

3. Place a lectern near them—this is their workstation

Refreshing Their Trades

Librarians cycle through different trade offers. If a librarian doesn't have Leaping:

1. Break their lectern (the workstation block)

2.

3. Replace the lectern

4. Check their new trades

Repeat until they offer a Leaping enchanted book.

Trading for the Book

Once a librarian has Leaping, they'll trade it for emeralds. You'll need to:

1. Gather emeralds through mining, trading, or other means

2. Complete the trade with the librarian

3. Receive the enchanted book

You can trade with the same librarian multiple times, making this an efficient way to get multiple Leaping books or share the enchantment with friends.
