How to Switch Languages Instantly Without Reloading Resources
Opening the Language Menu
Press Esc to open the pause menu, then click Options... and select Language.... With Language Reload installed, the language screen behaves differently from vanilla: selecting a language applies it immediately instead of waiting for you to confirm and reload. This is the core feature of the mod, so you no longer need to sit through a resource reload every time you want to test a different translation.
Applying a Language
1. Open the language list as described above.
2. Click any language entry. The interface text, item names, and tooltips update on the spot.
3. If you want to keep multiple languages active at once, look for the multi-select option in this same screen — the mod lets you tick more than one language so missing translations fall back to your secondary choice instead of English.
Why This Matters In-Game
Because there is no reload, you can flip between languages mid-session to compare translations, check how a modpack renders in your native language, or help a friend who plays in a different locale. If something ever looks stuck, use the mod's built-in reload key (F3 + J) to force a refresh without leaving the world.
Tip
The change is instant, so feel free to experiment — nothing is saved until you leave the options screen, and you can always click your original language again to revert.
