How to Make Heated and Superheated Mixing Recipes

Mixing in a Basin

Mixing recipes run in a Mechanical Mixer over a Basin. The basic form takes an array of inputs and an array of outputs. Use event.recipes.create.mixing(outputs, inputs).

`js

ServerEvents.recipes(event => {

event.recipes.create.mixing(

'minecraft:gunpowder',

['minecraft:sand', 'minecraft:coal']

)

})

`

Adding Heat Requirements

Chain .heated() to require a heated basin (Blaze Burner on a heat source) or .superheated() for superheated (Blaze Burner fed a Blaze Cake). Without the chain, the recipe works at any temperature.

`js

ServerEvents.recipes(event => {

event.recipes.create.mixing('minecraft:blaze_powder', [

'minecraft:gunpowder',

Fluid.of('minecraft:lava', 250)

]).superheated()

})

`

Fluid Inputs and Outputs

Mixing supports fluids. Pass Fluid.of('mod:fluid', amount) in the input array, and use Fluid.of(...) as an output for recipes that produce liquid. The same .heated() and .superheated() chains apply to CreateCompacting as well, so the pattern is identical if you want a Compacting recipe with heat.
