How to Safely Add or Remove Ksyxis on an Existing World
Ksyxis does not add blocks, items, or world generation, so it is generally safe to add or remove on an existing save. Still, a few habits keep your world healthy.
Adding Ksyxis to an Existing World
1. Back up your world folder first, as you should before changing any mods.
2. Install the mod and load the world. Expect the spawn area to appear unloaded until you visit it.
3. Visit any important builds near spawn once so they load and tick normally.
4. Re-check any spawn-based farms and adjust them as described in the farm guide.
Removing Ksyxis
1. Back up the world again.
2. Remove the mod and load the world. Vanilla will resume keeping spawn chunks loaded.
3. No cleanup is needed, because the mod does not place or convert any blocks.
Multiplayer and Server Cautions
On a server, everyone connecting must have matching mod setups if the mod is required. Removing it mid-session is fine for the world, but confirm your server and clients agree so players do not get connection errors. Because Ksyxis only affects chunk loading behavior, your terrain, inventories, and builds remain untouched either way.
