How to Keep Your Spawn Chunk Farm or Redstone Working With Ksyxis

The whole point of Ksyxis is that spawn chunks are no longer permanently loaded. That is great for performance, but it breaks any build that depended on the vanilla always-loaded spawn area. Here is how to adapt.

Why Your Farm Stopped

In vanilla, machines within the spawn chunk radius keep ticking even with no player nearby. Ksyxis removes that free chunk loading, so those machines only run when a player is close enough to load the chunks. If your farm is at world spawn and you are at your base, it is simply not loaded.

Options to Keep Things Running

1. Relocate the farm to your main base or wherever you spend most of your time, so it is loaded whenever you are there.

2. Use a chunk-loading method from another mod or a vanilla-friendly loader if your setup supports one, and place it at the farm.

3. Keep a second account or a player standing near the farm if you play on a server.

4. For single-player, accept that the farm runs only while you are nearby, and design rates around that.

Server Note

On a server, spawn chunks being unloaded also means the area around spawn is quieter and cheaper to run. If you want a hub that stays active, build it where players actually gather rather than relying on spawn loading.
