How to Fix a Broken or Empty Spawn Area After Installing Ksyxis

Ksyxis removes the always-loaded spawn chunks, so when you first load an existing world you may find the area around your spawn point looks unloaded, frozen, or partially generated. This is expected behavior, not corruption.

Understanding What Happened

Vanilla Minecraft keeps a ring of chunks around the world spawn permanently loaded. Ksyxis stops that, so those chunks now behave like any other chunk: they only load when a player is nearby. If you teleport to spawn or spawn there on join, the chunks will load normally once you arrive. Nothing is deleted from your save.

Steps to Restore the Area

1. Walk or teleport toward the spawn coordinates. As you approach, the chunks will load and render like anywhere else in the world.

2. If you rely on a spawn-area farm (iron farm, mob farm, chunk loader), it will no longer run while you are away. Move the farm to your base or keep a player/loader nearby.

3. If redstone machines at spawn appear stalled, visit them once to let them tick, then confirm they resume.

4. If chunks look permanently stuck, save and quit, then reload the world while standing at spawn so the game loads them with you present.

When to Worry

If terrain is genuinely missing or the world fails to load at all, that is unrelated to Ksyxis and likely a different mod or a corrupted region file. Ksyxis only changes which chunks stay loaded, not the terrain data itself.
