How to Start and Accept Your First Quest

Opening the Quest Menu

Approach any villager and right-click to open their talk screen. You'll see a new Quests button alongside the usual trading interface. Click it to view all available jobs from that villager.

Accepting a Quest

Read through the quest descriptions to understand what's required. Each quest shows:

• The objective type (gathering, hunting, building, etc.)
• What you need to complete it
• Rewards: items, experience, and friendship hearts

Click Accept on a quest that interests you. The quest will be added to your journal and you can track it like any other Minecraft objective.

Tracking Your Progress

Once accepted, your quest appears in your active tasks. Some quests may highlight target locations or NPCs through walls, and a compass bearing helps you navigate to distant objectives. Return to the villager who gave you the quest to turn it in and claim your rewards.
