Mount Your First Creature and Take Flight
Preparing to Ride
Before you can fly, you need a creature in your party that supports riding. Flying-type creatures like Charizard and Aerodactyl work best, but many species are pre-configured for mounting.
Approach your creature in the overworld and press Shift + Right Click to open its interaction screen. You'll see several options including a Ride button.
Taking to the Sky
Click the Ride button to mount your creature. Your character will snap into the riding position on the creature's back or shoulders, and you'll see the world from your mount's perspective.
Once mounted, press Space to take off into the air. Your creature will begin flying based on its speed stat—faster creatures accelerate quicker and reach higher speeds.
Use W, A, S, D to control direction and pitch. Press Shift to descend or land smoothly. Your mount's stamina will gradually recover while flying, so long journeys are sustainable.
To dismount, press Shift + Right Click again while grounded, or jump off mid-air (though calling your mount back with Shift + F is safer).
