Fix Animation Clipping When Riding Skyhooks

Why Your Character Clips Through Handles

When you ride skyhooks from Create or Create Aeronautics, your custom player animations (from Fresh Animations, Detailed Animations, or Entity Model Features) continue playing. This causes your hands and arms to pass through the rope, chain, or hook handle, breaking immersion.

How Kinetic Avatar Sync Fixes This

The mod automatically detects when you grab onto a skyhook or moving physics object and pauses your custom animations. Your character freezes into a natural holding pose—hands gripping the cable, body stable—instead of playing walking, climbing, or idle animations over the top.

This happens instantly and requires no configuration. Simply:

1. Install the mod alongside Create and your animation pack

2. Ride a skyhook as normal

3. Watch your character lock into a clean grip pose

4. Release to resume normal animations

What You'll Notice

Your character now holds onto chains and ropes with proper hand alignment. No more arms flailing through solid objects. The pose stays locked until you let go, then animations resume smoothly.
