Keybind Atlas Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I open the Keybind Atlas?
Press the default keybind (usually a key you can customize) to open the visual keyboard map. If you don't know what key opens it, check your Controls menu under Keybind Atlas or look for a keybind labeled 'Open Atlas' in the mod's settings.
What do the different colors mean on the keyboard map?
Color coding shows you the status of each key: used keys display one color, free/unassigned keys show another, and hidden keys (disabled keybinds) appear grayed out or differently colored. Hover over any key to see exactly what action it's bound to and which mod it belongs to.
Can I change a keybind directly from the atlas or do I have to go to settings?
You can change keybinds directly from the atlas—click on a key or action to reassign it without leaving the map. Your changes are applied immediately, but you can use the undo button before saving if you make a mistake.
How do I find keybind conflicts between my mods?
Open the atlas and look for keys that show multiple actions assigned to them, or use the filter feature to browse one mod at a time and cross-check overlapping keys. Hovering over a key will show all actions bound to it, making conflicts obvious.
What happens if I undo a keybind change—does it go back to the original?
The undo button only reverses changes you made in the current atlas session before saving. Once you save and close the atlas, those changes are permanent and undo won't reach back to them.
Can I see keybinds for mods that aren't loaded right now?
No, the atlas only shows keybinds for mods that are currently active in your game. If a mod isn't loaded, its keybinds won't appear in the map.
Is there a way to see all unassigned actions across my mods?
Yes, the atlas includes a list view of unassigned actions sorted by mod. This lets you quickly see what actions are available to bind and assign them to free keys without scrolling through menus.
Can I filter the keyboard map to show only one mod's keybinds?
Yes, use the filter feature to display keybinds from a specific mod or search for a particular action. This makes it much easier to manage controls when you have many mods installed.
Does the atlas show mouse buttons and scroll wheel, or just keyboard keys?
The atlas displays both your keyboard and mouse, including mouse buttons and scroll actions if they're bound to anything. You can reassign mouse controls the same way you do keyboard keys.
Will using this mod slow down my game or cause lag?
The atlas is a menu overlay that only runs when you open it, so it shouldn't impact your in-game performance. The mod reads your existing keybind data without adding extra processing during gameplay.
