Finding the Spider Den

The Spider Den is a web-infested cave system lurking deep underground. Search lower biomes for caves filled with thick cobwebs and spider spawners. The distinctive webbing and eerie atmosphere make it recognizable once you're close.

Preparation

Before entering, equip the Web Walker enchantment on your boots or legs. This enchantment is critical—it lets you move quickly through cobwebs instead of being slowed, and grants weaving power for combat advantages. Bring a sword with fire aspect to burn through webs faster, and stock healing potions for spider venom damage.

Facing Arachne

Arachne is a giant spider boss dwelling in the deepest web nest. She's faster and more aggressive than standard spiders. Use Web Walker to maintain mobility and avoid her web attacks. Strike during her recovery phases and keep moving to avoid being surrounded by smaller spiders.

Rewards and Lore

Defeating Arachne opens access to the boss chamber's treasure and lore books explaining the spider colony's origins and Arachne's role in the dungeon ecosystem.
