Katters Structures Dungeon Data Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I enable the mod after adding the data pack?
Run `/function kattersstructures` in chat to open the admin settings menu. If you're on PaperMC or Purpur, you'll also need to set `allow-non-player-entities-on-scoreboards` to true in your server settings first.
Where do dungeons spawn?
Dungeons generate in underground biomes and high in the sky. Search caves, deserts, and look upward to find floating sky structures like Sky Dungeons and Skyrtle.
Can I turn off boss fights?
Yes, use the in-game dialog menu from `/function kattersstructures` to toggle boss spawns on or off. You can also adjust boss health bars from the same menu.
What's the difference between Heavy and Light enchantments?
Heavy increases attack damage but slows your attack speed and movement, while Light boosts agility and speed but reduces your defense. Choose based on your combat style.
Do I need other mods for this to work?
No, all structures use only vanilla Minecraft blocks. The data pack works standalone in survival mode without requiring additional mods.
Why aren't dungeons spawning in my world?
Make sure you've run `/function kattersstructures` to initialize the pack and that you're exploring the right biomes. Dungeons generate in underground areas and the sky, so try traveling further from spawn or checking different biome types.
What do the lore books do?
Over 50 lore books are scattered in dungeon chests and tell villager stories that expand the mod's world-building. They're purely for reading and don't affect gameplay mechanics.
Can I use Web Walker to escape spider webs faster?
Yes, the Web Walker enchantment lets you move quickly through cobwebs and grants weaving power, making the Spider Den much easier to navigate.
What happens if I use Curse of Crystal?
Curse of Crystal boosts your weapon's attack power significantly but reduces weapon durability, so you'll need to repair or replace weapons more often.
Are there any performance concerns with this data pack?
The pack uses vanilla blocks and standard spawners, so performance impact is minimal on most systems. If you experience lag, try disabling boss spawns or reducing the render distance around dungeons.
