How to Sit Down and Stand Up

Basic Sitting

Sitting is the core mechanic of Just Sit Mod. To sit down, simply press your sit keybind while standing on solid ground. By default, this is the V key.

Your character will enter a seated pose and remain in place until you choose to stand. While sitting, you can still look around with your mouse and chat with other players.

Standing Back Up

To stand up, press the sit keybind again (V by default). Your character will return to normal standing position.

You can also stand up by:

• Moving in any direction (WASD keys)
• Jumping
• Taking damage
• Entering water or lava

Tips

Sitting works best on flat, solid surfaces like grass, stone, or wood blocks. You cannot sit while in mid-air or on transparent blocks like leaves or glass.
