How to Collect Player Heads Automatically on Death
Enabling Death Drops
Beyond the manual command, the mod can produce a head whenever a player dies. This is the hands-off way to build a collection on a server: kill a player (or let them fall in lava) and their head drops at the death location like any other item.
Check the mod's config file for the option that toggles death-event head generation. If you want heads only from certain situations, that is where you control it. On a server, the config is server-side, so the setting applies to everyone.
Picking Up and Storing Heads
A dropped head behaves like a normal item — walk over it or use a hopper to collect it. Store heads in chests or display them on note blocks, fences, or the ground. Because the mod adds no custom blocks, the heads are standard vanilla player heads and will keep working even if you later remove the mod.
If you are running a PvP or survival server and do not want heads from every death, disable the death event and rely on the command instead. That gives you full control over which heads exist in the world.
