View a Recipe Using Just Enough Book

Opening the Recipe Book

Press C (or your configured Recipe Book key) to open the vanilla recipe book. The mod integrates directly into this interface, so no separate menu is needed.

Finding and Hovering Over Items

Once the recipe book is open, search for or navigate to the item you want to craft. When you find it in the list, hover your mouse over the item icon. A small tooltip will appear showing the recipe ingredients and layout.

Reading the Tooltip

The tooltip displays:

• The crafting grid pattern (showing where each ingredient goes)
• All required ingredients and their quantities
• The output item

Unlike larger recipe mods, this information is presented in a compact, uncluttered format. If the recipe is simple, the tooltip may appear instantly. For more complex recipes, the layout is still condensed to fit the tooltip window.

Tips

If you need more detailed information about a specific ingredient, you can hover over ingredient icons within the tooltip itself for additional details. Move your mouse away to close the tooltip.
