How to Get Back to the Overworld From the Void

Use the Portal Block on Your Platform

Your void dimension is not a one-way trip. The same special block you used to enter can be placed on your platform and activated again with an Ender Pearl to send you back. Place it somewhere safe near your spawn point in the void so you always have an exit.

Keep an Ender Pearl on You at All Times

Because activation requires an Ender Pearl in hand, running out of pearls while in the void is the most common way players get stuck. Store a spare stack in a chest on your platform, or keep pearls in your inventory before you travel. If you have no pearls and no portal block placed, you may need to use creative mode or an admin command to escape.

Plan a Return Anchor

Before you start building, decide where your return portal lives and mark it clearly. Many players build a small hub room around the portal block with a chest of pearls, food, and building materials. That way every trip back to the Overworld is one right-click away, and you never have to hunt for the block in the dark.
