Using the Jump Over Fences Mod to Move Around Farms and Crop Fields Faster

Why it helps on farms

Farms are usually ringed with fences to keep animals in and players organized. In vanilla you have to find a gate or place a block to hop the fence, which breaks your rhythm while harvesting or planting. This mod removes that interruption: you simply jump the fence and keep moving.

A practical harvesting route

1. Build or keep your existing fence perimeter around the crop area.

2. Walk along the rows and harvest as usual.

3. When you reach the fence at the end of a row, jump straight over it instead of walking to a gate.

4. Continue to the next section and jump back in the same way.

This turns a fenced field into a space you can cross in any direction, rather than being funneled through gate openings.

Combining with other movement

Because the jump only needs to clear the fence top, you can chain jumps between adjacent fenced plots. If you use sprint-jumping, you can cross a fence and keep running toward the next one. For animal pens, remember the mobs inside are still blocked by the fence, so the mod does not let your livestock escape; it only changes how you, the player, move.
