Set Up JourneyMap Web Map on a Secondary Monitor

Displaying the Web Map Fullscreen

Using a second monitor for your map improves navigation without blocking your game view:

1. Open the web map in a browser window on your secondary monitor (see network access guide)

2. Press F11 or use your browser's fullscreen option to maximize the map display

3. Position the browser window to span your entire secondary monitor

4. Minimize or close other browser tabs to reduce clutter

Optimizing for Continuous Viewing

  • Disable browser notifications and auto-refresh features that might distract you
  • Adjust your browser's zoom level if the map text is too small or large
  • Consider pinning the browser window to always stay on top (varies by browser)
  • Keep Minecraft running on your primary monitor—the web map updates in real-time as you move and explore

This setup is especially useful for long exploration sessions, base building, or when navigating complex terrain. The web map shows waypoints, claimed chunks, and other JourneyMap data synchronized with your in-game progress.
