Journey PAC Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I see my claimed chunks on JourneyMap?
Once Journey PAC Mod is installed alongside JourneyMap and OpenPAC, claimed chunks will automatically appear as overlays on your map. If you don't see them, make sure both mods are loaded and check that claim display is enabled in JourneyMap's options.
Why aren't my claims showing up on the map?
Check that OpenPAC is installed and you have active claims in your world. Claims only display when you're in a dimension where they exist, and the JourneyMap cache may need to refresh—try moving to a new area or reloading the map.
Can I see who owns a claimed chunk?
Yes—hover over or click on a claimed chunk overlay in JourneyMap to view ownership information provided by OpenPAC, including the claim owner's name.
Does this mod work with other claim mods like FTB Chunks?
Journey PAC Mod is specifically designed for OpenPAC claims and won't display claims from other mods like FTB Chunks or GriefPrevention. Use the appropriate claim visualization tool for your claim mod.
What if JourneyMap isn't showing claim colors correctly?
Check JourneyMap's color and overlay settings to ensure claim overlays aren't hidden or set to invisible colors. You can also try disabling and re-enabling the claim layer in JourneyMap's map options.
Do I need to configure anything after installing the mod?
No configuration is required—the mod works automatically once installed. Claims will display using default colors, though you can customize the appearance through JourneyMap's settings if desired.
Will this mod slow down my game or affect performance?
Journey PAC Mod is lightweight since it only adds visual overlays to JourneyMap without processing claim data itself. Performance impact is minimal, though rendering many claims on a large map may have a slight effect depending on your hardware.
Can I hide claims from specific players on the map?
Journey PAC Mod displays all claims visible to you based on OpenPAC's permission system—you cannot selectively hide claims from other players viewing your map, as visibility is controlled by OpenPAC's claim settings.
What happens to claim display when I travel to the Nether or End?
Claims display in all dimensions where they exist. If you have claims in the Nether or End, they'll show on JourneyMap just like in the Overworld, though you'll need to have explored those dimensions for the map to render them.
How do I update the claim display if claims change while I'm playing?
JourneyMap updates claim overlays automatically as OpenPAC data changes. If you notice stale information, try moving to a different chunk or reloading the map to force a refresh.
