Jors Cobblemon Music Pack Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

Why is no music playing at all after I installed this pack?
This pack is a resource pack for the Reactive Music mod, not a standalone music mod, so you need Reactive Music installed for anything to play. Make sure the pack is enabled in your resource pack list and sits above any other packs that also replace music.
How do I get the music to actually change when I walk into a new biome?
Reactive Music handles the biome detection, so the pack just supplies the tracks. If the song doesn't switch, check that Reactive Music's biome-based music option is enabled and that no other music pack is overriding it higher in the load order.
Do I need the Cobblemon mod for this to work?
No, the pack works fine on its own with just Reactive Music. Cobblemon is only needed if you want the tunes to match a monster-catching playthrough.
The day and night songs seem swapped or don't change. What's wrong?
Reactive Music decides day versus night from the in-game time, so if you're in a cave, indoors, or a dimension without a normal day cycle, the switch may not trigger as expected. Test in an open overworld area at a clear sunrise or sunset.
Why don't I hear the Nether or End tracks?
Dimension music only plays while you're actually inside that dimension, and it can be blocked if another pack or mod is also supplying dimension music. Confirm Reactive Music's dimension option is on and that this pack is loaded above conflicting packs.
How does the boss music work — does it play for every mob fight?
Boss tracks are tied to major fights rather than ordinary mobs, so you'll hear them during large or special encounters. If you never hear them, check that Reactive Music's boss/combat music setting isn't disabled.
Can I use this with Cobblemon without the music clashing?
Yes, they're designed to sit together, but Cobblemon or other mods can add their own music. If tracks overlap or cut each other off, move this pack above other music packs in the resource pack order.
The music keeps restarting or cutting off when I move between areas. How do I fix it?
Frequent biome or dimension transitions can make Reactive Music retrigger tracks, which is normal behavior. Staying in one area and letting the track finish, or reducing how often you cross borders, keeps playback smoother.
Will this pack hurt my performance or FPS?
It's a resource pack that only swaps audio files, so it has essentially no effect on framerate. Any lag you see is coming from other mods, not the music.
How do I turn off just the boss music or just the night music?
You can't toggle individual categories from the pack itself — those switches live in Reactive Music's config. Adjust the relevant category there, or disable the pack entirely if you want vanilla music back.
