How to Diagnose Why Ixeris Shows No Improvement on Your System

Rule Out the Obvious First

The most common reason players see no change is that the mod is not actually loaded. Open the mod list and confirm it is present and enabled. On a mod loader that requires it in the mods folder, a misplaced file silently does nothing.

Check Whether Your Bottleneck Is Elsewhere

Ixeris only helps when event polling is the thing holding back your render thread. If your framerate is limited by something else, the mod has nothing to fix.

1. Watch your framerate while standing completely still. If it is already low, your bottleneck is rendering or simulation, not input polling.

2. Check whether you are GPU-bound. Lower your resolution or render distance. If framerate jumps, the GPU was the limit.

3. Check whether you are CPU-bound. Reduce entity and particle counts. If framerate improves, the CPU was the limit.

4. Confirm your mouse polling rate. On a low-polling-rate mouse, there are simply fewer events to stall on, so the gain is minimal.

Platform and Configuration Notes

The effect is most visible on Windows. On other platforms the polling behavior differs and the improvement may be negligible. Also check that vsync or a framerate cap is not masking the change — an uncapped or high cap gives the render thread room to show the benefit. If everything checks out and you still see no difference, your system was likely never hitting this particular stall.
