How to Combine Ixeris With Other Performance Mods Without Conflicts
Understand What Ixeris Does and Does Not Touch
Ixeris changes one specific thing: it moves GLFW event polling off the render thread. It is not a chunk-rendering optimizer, a memory mod, or a shader replacement. That means it stacks cleanly with mods that target completely different bottlenecks, and it is unlikely to conflict with them.
Safe Stacking Order
1. Keep Ixeris alongside rendering and chunk-caching mods. They solve different problems, so there is no overlap to fight over.
2. Be cautious with any other mod that also manipulates the render thread or input handling. Two mods touching the same thread can produce crashes or unpredictable behavior.
3. Add new performance mods one at a time and restart between each. If the game crashes on startup after adding one, remove it and test again.
4. If you use an optimization modpack, check whether it already bundles Ixeris. Running two copies will cause a load failure.
Verifying Stability
After building your stack, play for a full session that includes heavy
camera movement, inventory opening, and world transitions. Watch for crashes in the log and for input lag that was not present before. If turning the
camera feels delayed rather than smooth, a conflicting input mod is the likely culprit — disable it and retest.
