Reduce Shadow and Reflection Quality

If your frame rate drops significantly after enabling IterationVX Shaders, open Shader Options and lower the shadow resolution and reflection sample count. These are the most demanding settings and reducing them provides the largest performance boost.

Disable or Limit Advanced Features

Some configurations allow you to disable path-traced reflections on specific block types or reduce the range of colored light calculations. Check the Shader Options for toggles related to reflection distance or lighting radius and disable features you don't need.

Monitor GPU Usage

IterationVX Shaders performs heavy calculations on your GPU. Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date and that no other demanding applications are running. If performance remains poor, consider using a lighter shader pack or reducing your render distance.
