Enable and Configure IterationVX Shaders

Install Iris and Load the Shader Pack

IterationVX Shaders requires Iris to function. Once Iris is installed alongside Fabric or Forge, launch Minecraft and open the Shader Options screen (usually accessible from Video Settings).

Locate IterationVX Shaders in your shader pack list and select it. The shader will load and apply immediately to your world.

Adjust Quality Settings

Open the Shader Options menu to fine-tune performance. You'll find sliders for shadow quality, reflection detail, and lighting intensity. Lower these values if you experience frame rate drops, especially on lower-end hardware.

The mod is designed to be scalable—reducing shadow resolution or reflection samples will maintain the visual style while improving performance. Test different combinations to find the balance between visual fidelity and smooth gameplay.

Verify Lighting is Working

Place a torch or glowing block in your world. You should see colored light radiating from the source with sharp shadows cast on nearby surfaces. If lighting appears flat or white, check that your shader pack is actually active in the Video Settings menu.
