Monitoring Your Mining and Harvesting Progress

Block Mining Statistics

Pickaxes, shovels, axes, and hoes each track the total number of blocks you've mined with them. Hover over the tool to see this count in the tooltip. This is useful for gauging how much work you've done or comparing efficiency between different tools.

Specialized Harvesting Counters

Certain tools track additional specific actions:

  • Axes record the number of wood logs you've stripped using the axe's stripping feature
  • Shears count both blocks broken and sheep clipped separately

Using Stats to Plan Tool Upgrades

By checking your mining statistics, you can decide when a tool needs replacing. If your pickaxe shows it has mined thousands of blocks, you'll know it's approaching durability limits. This helps you plan ahead and craft or find a replacement before your current tool breaks during an important mining session.
