Turn Off Border Animation for a Static Look

Access the Configuration File

Locate your mod configuration file at config/itemoverlayborder.toml in your game directory. Open it with any text editor.

Disable Animation

Find the line that reads "Disable animation" = false and change it to true. Save the file and restart your game.

What Changes

Once enabled, rarity borders will remain solid and stationary around item slots instead of moving or glowing. The colored outline matching each item's rarity tier stays visible—only the animation effect disappears. This is useful if you find moving borders distracting or prefer a cleaner, more minimal visual style.

Common items will still have no border, keeping your inventory uncluttered. Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and higher rarity items will display their colored borders as usual, just without the animated effect.

Revert Anytime

If you want animations back, simply change the setting to false again and restart.
